At New Starlight, we are firmly committed to being a pioneer in adopting international best practices, including environmental, social and governance policies. Since NSL was founded, it has engaged in various Corporate Social Responsibility and philanthropic activities in bringing about positive changes in local communities.
The New Starlight Foundation, the philanthropic and community outreach arm of NSL, has also been selected by the Rockefeller Foundation’s 100 Resilient Cities Project to act as the local partner in advancing the sustainable development and urbanization of Mandalay. With global climate change an urgent reality today, NSL intends to become leaders and pioneers in the sustainable development of Mandalay, Upper Myanmar, as well as Myanmar in general. New Starlight is also a member of UN Global Compact, an initiatve That encourage businesses worldwide to adopt sustainable and socially responsible policies.
